We seal coated 55,000 sq ft of asphalt and performed crack sealing for St. Joachim’s Catholic School, then returned the next day to restripe the lot and replace 12 concrete wheel stops. The two-day sequence kept the site moving and got the lot back open quickly.
About the Client
St. Joachim’s Catholic School is a Catholic school community serving families in the Central Valley. With students, families, and staff on campus daily, dependable parking and safe access are essential—making timely pavement maintenance a priority.

The Challenge
Coordinating a fast turnaround to minimize downtime and keep access clear during curing. We planned the sequence to protect fresh material, manage foot/vehicle traffic, and deliver a clean handoff from preparation to final striping.

Our Scope & Approach
Here’s how we tackled it:
- Sealcoating: Treated 55,000 sq ft after surface cleaning and edge work; applied sealcoating with appropriate cure time.
- Crack sealing: Sealed active cracks prior to sealcoat to slow water intrusion and extend pavement life.
- Striping: Re-striped parking stalls and traffic markings per the existing layout for clear circulation and visibility.
- Wheel stops: Replaced 12 concrete wheel stops, anchored and aligned for uniform spacing.
Scheduling & Phasing
We executed the project over two consecutive days to minimize disruption, using cones and barricades to maintain safe egress while coatings cured. Crew handoffs kept the schedule tight—from prep to sealcoat to striping—so the lot could reopen quickly.

Results
The refreshed lot improves traffic flow and on-campus safety with crisp, high-contrast markings. Sealed cracks and the new protective surface help extend pavement life and reduce future repair costs.
