Project Overview
This project at John C. Martinez Elementary School in Parlier, CA included approximately 14,000 square feet of parking lot maintenance. The pavement had previously received repairs, and only one small additional asphalt repair was needed before moving forward with the maintenance work.
Our crew completed crack filling throughout the lot, applied two coats of sealcoat, and restriped the parking area. We also made a slight adjustment to the existing parking layout to create additional parking spaces and make better use of the available area.

Work Completed
- One small asphalt repair
- Crack filling
- Two coats of sealcoat
- Parking lot striping
- Minor parking layout changes to add parking capacity

Project Details
With most of the larger pavement repairs already completed, the focus of this project was protecting the existing asphalt and refreshing the parking lot. Cracks were filled before sealcoating to help limit water intrusion and further deterioration.
After two coats of sealcoat were applied, the lot was restriped. During the striping process, the layout was adjusted slightly to accommodate additional parking while still making efficient use of the existing lot.
